The 2025 Kuršių Marių Regatta marked ORCA Crew’s third consecutive participation in Lithuania’s most prestigious sailing event and delivered the team’s strongest performance to date. Racing in the RS280 class, the crew completed an unforgettable week filled with demanding conditions, close competition, and valuable lessons on the water.
The regatta began on the Baltic Sea before moving to the Curonian Lagoon near Nida, offering a true test of sailing skills and teamwork. Throughout the event, the crew encountered everything the Kuršių Marių Regatta is known for: strong winds, heavy rain, calm conditions, and tactical racing that required constant focus and adaptability.
Finishing 6th out of 11 sport sailboats represented another step forward in ORCA Crew’s competitive sailing journey. More importantly, the regatta reinforced the team’s greatest strengths: trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement. Every race provided new experience and further strengthened the crew’s confidence on the racecourse.
For ORCA Crew, the 2025 Kuršių Marių Regatta was more than a sporting competition. It was another memorable chapter in the team’s sailing journey and a source of motivation to return to the starting line with even greater ambition in the seasons ahead.
