The 2024 Kuršių Marių Regatta marked another important chapter in ORCA Crew’s sailing journey as the team returned to one of Lithuania’s most prestigious sailing events with greater confidence and experience. Building on the lessons learned during their debut the previous year, the crew took on the challenge of competing against a larger and highly competitive fleet.
Over the course of the regatta, ORCA Crew completed demanding offshore and coastal race legs across the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon. The team navigated a wide range of conditions, from strong winds to constantly changing weather that required quick tactical decisions, precise boat handling, and effective teamwork throughout every stage of the competition.
Finishing 7th out of 17 boats in the Sport Sailboats category reflected the team’s steady progress and growing competitiveness. Beyond the result itself, the regatta strengthened the crew’s confidence, enhanced collaboration on board, and provided valuable experience that will support future campaigns.
The 2024 Kuršių Marių Regatta once again demonstrated that success in sailing is built through preparation, adaptability, and trust among the crew. ORCA Crew returned from Nida with new knowledge, stronger team spirit, and even greater motivation to continue improving in the seasons ahead.
